About this Portfolio All the work on this site was done over the past three years. Some of it is experimental, but it is largely real-world work, working in a variety of media and applications. Although I have worked as part of a team, the work you see on this site is between 75 to 100 percent done by me. I have also worked on a number of collaborative projects, but aren't shown here. My background is in graphic design and illustration, but recently I have used my skills in interactive media, web sites and video. Despite the advancement in technology, fundamentals and an appreciation of good design are as important as ever. I
identify and create solutions that are appropriate
to a client's needs, time constraints and budget. I don't go for
pointless filters and effects. I just like good ideas that are
well-executed.
Q: What sort of company would I like to work for?
Those in the know will recognise typefaces such as Meta and Info, created by Erik Spiekermann. He is also the founder of Meta Design. A true international design agency with offices in San Francisco, Berlin and Zurich, they have provided information design solutions for companies such as Adobe Systems, Apple, Audi and Xerox.
As an admirer of Meta Design, I love functionality with style and would like to work on identity and information design projects that embody these characteristics.
